1 Stride Sleeve worn on the forefoot

Blister-Free Training From Day 1

Stride Sleeve's seamless sleeves eliminate skin-on-skin friction — the root cause of blisters and hotspots. With Stride Sleeve sitting between your foot and your sock, the inner surface stays put against your skin while the outer surface slides. The sliding provides immediate blister protection.

BONE-DRY FEET FOR ALL 90 MINUTES

Unlike gel protectors that trap heat against your skin, Stride Sleeve is ventilated and wicks moisture from your feet.
Damp skin blisters far more easily than dry skin, and a boot is already a hot, closed box. Stride Sleeve's BreatheGel® gives sweat somewhere to go, so your skin stays dry into the second half.

FITS THE BOOTS YOU ALREADY OWN

Stride Sleeve's low-profile design adds just 3mm — thin enough to sit under a normal sock without crowding your Mercures or Hyperfasts.
Tape bunches and peels by the 20th minute, and stacked gel toe caps create a new pressure point where there wasn't one before. Your boots fit exactly as they did yesterday.

PLAY WITHOUT THE PAIN

Stride Sleeve goes on in seconds and stays put through cuts, sprints and hard stops. No taping ritual before kick-off, no adjusting at a throw-in, no checking your feet in the car afterwards. You get the full 90 minutes to think about the ball instead.

Is it normal to get blisters this often? Am I doing something wrong?

You're not. Cleats are built tight on purpose — you want the foot locked in for cutting and striking the ball — and that same tight fit is what drives friction into the forefoot.

It happens to rec league players and serious ones alike. New cleats, a jump in playing time and hot turf all at once is a lot to ask of your feet.

Won't my feet just toughen up eventually?

Some skin does adapt over time. But blisters are caused by shear — layers of skin sliding against each other under load — and that force doesn't go away because you've been playing longer.

Waiting it out has a cost too. Once a spot is sore, most people unconsciously change how they plant and push off to avoid it, and that's how a foot problem turns into an ankle or knee problem.

How do I know which size to order?

Go by your usual shoe size using the chart in the Size Guide above — S, L or XL, with women's and men's sizes listed.

If you're between two sizes, take the larger one. And if it isn't right when it arrives, message us and we'll sort it.

Will it fit inside my cleats?

Yes. The gel layer is 3 mm, and the whole thing is built to sit under a normal sock without eating the space in your cleat.

This is the main reason it's one piece across the forefoot rather than separate toe caps. Stacking individual caps on multiple toes crowds an already tight cleat and can create a new pressure problem — which is exactly what we designed around.

How does Stride Sleeve actually work?

It sits between your forefoot and your cleat. The inner surface stays put against your skin; the outer surface slides against your sock.

So the rubbing still happens — it just happens to the sleeve instead of to you. The gel layer also cushions the big toe joint, which absorbs the load on every push-off and hard stop.

I already wear grip socks. Isn't that the same thing?

Different problem. Grip socks stop your foot sliding around inside the cleat, which is real and worth having.

They don't do anything about the cleat pressing directly on your forefoot. That's a pressure and shear problem, not a slippage one, and it's the one this is built for. Plenty of people wear both.

Won't it make my feet sweat more?

This is the right question to ask, because most gel products are sealed — which is why their own instructions tell you to air out your feet and take them off for a few hours a day.

That matters beyond comfort: damp skin blisters more readily than dry skin, so a sealed protector inside a hot cleat can end up causing what it's meant to stop. Ours is ventilated so moisture has somewhere to go.

Does it work on turf and indoor as well as grass?

Yes — and turf is where most players notice it most. Artificial surfaces grip harder than grass, so more of that force transfers straight into shear across your forefoot.

Indoor and futsal shoes are flatter and tighter through the forefoot, which produces the same problem for a different reason. The mechanism is identical wherever your foot meets the front of the shoe.

How long does a pair last?

It's reusable — rinse it in cool water after each session and air dry it flat. Most people get months of regular use from a pair.

Plenty of players keep a second pair in the bag so there's always a dry one for back-to-back games.

How long does delivery take?

Orders typically arrive within 6–9 business days.

If you're buying for a specific tournament or the start of a season, order at least two weeks ahead so you can wear them in at practice first.

What's your returns policy?

If you're not completely satisfied, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.

Anyone actually used these for football? Same blister on my big toe every single week, driving me mad.

Yeah mate, tried them in pre-season and nothing since. They just stop the boot rubbing that same spot, which was literally the whole problem for me.

Same, bought a pair in August, not one blister since. Only tip — get two pairs, one's never enough if you're training and playing.

Sizing question — I'm a size 9 boot but my feet swell a bit during a session. Size up or true to size?

Went true to size, was fine. They've got a bit of stretch in them.

Same here, and if you're between sizes I'd go up a size. Still grips fine with a bit of slack.

Only worry is the lads taking the mick if they clock me wearing something under my socks. Anyone had that?

Mate they're under your sock, nobody can see them. Half the time I forget I've even got mine on.

Same, took about two sessions and now I just put them on without thinking about it.

Tournament weekend, five games over two days on 3G. Usually wrecks my feet completely. Took my boots off Sunday night — nothing there. First time that's ever happened.

Are they tight? I've got quite a wide foot and anything snug leaves marks. Don't want to make it worse.

I've got wide feet too. Mine are stretchy rather than compressive, more like a sock band. No marks at all even after a full match.

I've already wasted about £40 on grip socks that did nothing for me. Why would this be any different?

Had the exact same thought, three pairs of grip socks sitting in my kit bag doing nothing. Turns out they stop your foot sliding inside the sock, not the boot rubbing your skin. Nobody tells you those are two completely different problems.

Is this actually any different from the £8 packs on Amazon? Bought a few over the years, either fell apart or were so bulky my boot wouldn't do up.

Had the exact same thought. The cheap ones are basically gel pads, way too thick for a boot. This is thin enough my boots fit the same as before. Four months in and the stitching's still holding.

Agree, bulk was the issue with everything else I tried. Boots have zero spare room in them.

Just started playing 5-a-side properly and already getting sore feet. Is this overkill for someone who only plays once a week?

I only play once a week too and still wear mine, no problem. Took the small size.

Practical one — how do you wash them? My kit goes in on a Sunday night, not doing a separate wash for these.

Straight in with the kit, cool wash. I air dry mine on the rack rather than the radiator, been doing that since September and they're fine.

Does anyone here play women's football and use these? I play at a decent level and my feet are in a state most weeks.

Yep, wear them for the same reason. It's just a foot, same problem either way.

I play Saturday and Sunday plus two trainings. Used to come off around 70 minutes most weeks, always put it down to fitness. It wasn't. I've played the full ninety every game since half term.

Silly question but is it one per foot or does the pack come with two?

You get both, it's a pair, one on each foot.

Coming back to this because I was pretty rude about it a few weeks ago. Genuinely thought it was another gimmick. Been wearing them since the start of October and I haven't touched a plaster once. I was wrong.

Best thing I did was get a pair at the same time as new boots. First month in new boots is always horrendous, this time there was nothing.

What also helped me was switching to proper football socks instead of the cheap multipack ones. Doing both at once is what sorted it, but the sleeve was the bigger part.

Moved up to a bigger team in September, went from one session a week to three. My feet could not cope with the jump. Thought I'd just toughen up, apparently that's not how skin works. Wish I'd known sooner.

Our physio actually mentioned these before I'd heard of them. Said the forefoot's where nearly all of it happens in football because of the push-off and the cutting. Made sense once he explained it.

Does it stay put or does it shift around during a game? I'm not stopping mid-match to fix something.

Ordered a second pack today. Between training and matches I'm playing enough that one pair was never going to be enough. Worth it just to stop the car park taping before every game.
