Stride Sleeve Blister Protectors
Built for what a boots does to his forefoot:
Takes the friction
The inner layer stays with his skin while the outer layer slides against the sock. His boots rubs the sleeve instead of the skin.
Lets sweat out
Ventilated rather than sealed, so sweat has somewhere to go. Damp skin blisters more easily than dry skin β and a boot is already a hot, closed box.
Stays put through cuts
A close, even fit that holds through 90 minutes of sprinting and planting. No slipping, no bunching, nothing to stop and fix at a throw-in.
Blisters start where friction happens.
In football the load doesn't spread evenly across the foot. Push-off, cutting and braking funnel it into the forefoot β the part of his foot that takes the most punishment inside a boot, and the part nothing is built to protect.
BIG TOE
Every push-off, every sprint start, every plant. The big toe drives the hardest friction of anywhere on his foot.
BALL OF FOOT
The joint behind his big toe carries the bodyweight on every acceleration and hard stop. Pressure, not just rubbing.
OUTER FOREFOOT
Cutting laterally slams the outside of his foot into the boot wall. Turf makes it worse β more grip, more shear.
Stride Sleeve wraps all three in one piece β so the boot rubs the sleeve, not his skin.

Developed & Validated by Foot Care Specialists
Stride Sleeve combines a one-piece toebox design with clinical input on how blisters actually form.
To make sure it holds up outside a clinic, we worked with Dr. Anya Sharma, a practising podiatrist who has worked race medical tents for over a decade.
- Built on the science of shear and pressure
- Tested by real football players
- Refined over successive wear-test rounds
Is it normal to get blisters this often? Am I doing something wrong?
You're not. Boots are built tight on purpose β you want the foot locked in for cutting and striking the ball β and that same tight fit is what drives friction into the forefoot.
It happens to rec league players and serious ones alike. New boots, a jump in playing time and hot turf all at once is a lot to ask of your feet.
Won't my feet just toughen up eventually?
Some skin does adapt over time. But blisters are caused by shear β layers of skin sliding against each other under load β and that force doesn't go away because you've been playing longer.
Waiting it out has a cost too. Once a spot is sore, most people unconsciously change how they plant and push off to avoid it, and that's how a foot problem turns into an ankle or knee problem.
How do I know which size to order?
Go by your usual shoe size using the chart in the Size Guide above β S, L or XL, with women's and men's sizes listed.
If you're between two sizes, take the larger one. And if it isn't right when it arrives, message us and we'll sort it.
Will it fit inside my boots?
Yes. The gel layer is 3 mm, and the whole thing is built to sit under a normal sock without eating the space in your boot.
This is the main reason it's one piece across the forefoot rather than separate toe caps. Stacking individual caps on multiple toes crowds an already tight boot and can create a new pressure problem β which is exactly what we designed around.
How does Stride Sleeve actually work?
It sits between your forefoot and your boot. The inner surface stays put against your skin; the outer surface slides against your sock.
So the rubbing still happens β it just happens to the sleeve instead of to you. The gel layer also cushions the big toe joint, which absorbs the load on every push-off and hard stop.
I already wear grip socks. Isn't that the same thing?
Different problem. Grip socks stop your foot sliding around inside the boot, which is real and worth having.
They don't do anything about the boot pressing directly on your forefoot. That's a pressure and shear problem, not a slippage one, and it's the one this is built for. Plenty of people wear both.
Won't it make my feet sweat more?
This is the right question to ask, because most gel products are sealed β which is why their own instructions tell you to air out your feet and take them off for a few hours a day.
That matters beyond comfort: damp skin blisters more readily than dry skin, so a sealed protector inside a hot boot can end up causing what it's meant to stop. Ours is ventilated so moisture has somewhere to go.
Does it work on turf and indoor as well as grass?
Yes β and turf is where most players notice it most. Artificial surfaces grip harder than grass, so more of that force transfers straight into shear across your forefoot.
Indoor and futsal shoes are flatter and tighter through the forefoot, which produces the same problem for a different reason. The mechanism is identical wherever your foot meets the front of the shoe.
How long does a pair last?
It's reusable β rinse it in cool water after each session and air dry it flat. Most people get months of regular use from a pair.
Plenty of players keep a second pair in the bag so there's always a dry one for back-to-back games.
How long does delivery take?
Orders typically arrive within 6β9 business days.
If you're buying for a specific tournament or the start of a season, order at least two weeks ahead so you can wear them in at practice first.
What's your returns policy?
If you're not completely satisfied, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
