After two years of taping my toes before every match and having it fall apart 20 minutes in, these just stay put.

Description

Big toe raw by the 60th minute? Taping your foot before every game? Push-off, cutting and hard stops drive almost all of soccer's friction through the forefoot — the part of your foot doing the most work inside a cleat, and the part your socks do the least for:

  • One piece wraps the big toe and ball of your foot
  • Your cleat rubs the sleeve, not your skin
  • Gel pad cushions the joint that absorbs every push-off
  • Thin enough that your cleats still fit
  • Ventilated, so sweat gets out
  • Goes on in seconds — no taping before every game
  • Reusable — wash it and wear it again
  • 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Care & Wash Guide

Rinse in cool water with mild soap after each session. Rub gently with your fingers — no scrubbing.

Air dry flat, away from direct heat. Never put it in the dryer, iron it, or leave it on a heater.

Do not bleach, dry clean or use fabric softener. Softener coats the gel and stops it gripping.

Stride Sleeve Blister Protectors

Built for what a cleat does to your forefoot:

Takes the friction for you

The inner layer stays with your skin while the outer layer slides against your sock. Your cleat rubs the sleeve instead of you.

Lets sweat out

Ventilated rather than sealed, so sweat has somewhere to go. Damp skin blisters more easily than dry skin — and a cleat is already a hot, closed box.

Stays put through cuts

A close, even fit that holds through 90 minutes of sprinting and planting. No slipping, no bunching, nothing to stop and fix at a throw-in.

Blisters start where friction happens.

In soccer the load doesn't spread evenly across your foot. Push-off, cutting and braking funnel it into the forefoot — the part of your foot that takes the most punishment inside a cleat, and the part nothing is built to protect.

Stride Sleeve
1

BIG TOE

Every push-off, every sprint start, every plant. The big toe drives the hardest friction of anywhere on your foot.

2

BALL OF FOOT

The joint behind your big toe carries your bodyweight on every acceleration and hard stop. Pressure, not just rubbing.

3

OUTER FOREFOOT

Cutting laterally slams the outside of your foot into the cleat wall. Turf makes it worse — more grip, more shear.

Stride Sleeve wraps all three in one piece — so the cleat rubs the sleeve, not your skin.

Stride Sleeve Socks + Tape

Cleat rubs the sleeve — not your skin
Gel pad over the joint that takes the load
Stays put through cuts and hard stops

Developed & Validated by Foot Care Specialists

Stride Sleeve combines a one-piece toebox design with clinical input on how blisters actually form.

To make sure it holds up outside a clinic, we worked with Dr. Anya Sharma, a practising podiatrist who has worked race medical tents for over a decade.

  • Built on the science of shear and pressure
  • Tested by real soccer players
  • Refined over successive wear-test rounds
Is it normal to get blisters this often? Am I doing something wrong?

You're not. Cleats are built tight on purpose — you want the foot locked in for cutting and striking the ball — and that same tight fit is what drives friction into the forefoot.

It happens to rec league players and serious ones alike. New cleats, a jump in playing time and hot turf all at once is a lot to ask of your feet.

Won't my feet just toughen up eventually?

Some skin does adapt over time. But blisters are caused by shear — layers of skin sliding against each other under load — and that force doesn't go away because you've been playing longer.

Waiting it out has a cost too. Once a spot is sore, most people unconsciously change how they plant and push off to avoid it, and that's how a foot problem turns into an ankle or knee problem.

How do I know which size to order?

Go by your usual shoe size using the chart in the Size Guide above — S, L or XL, with women's and men's sizes listed.

If you're between two sizes, take the larger one. And if it isn't right when it arrives, message us and we'll sort it.

Will it fit inside my cleats?

Yes. The gel layer is 3 mm, and the whole thing is built to sit under a normal sock without eating the space in your cleat.

This is the main reason it's one piece across the forefoot rather than separate toe caps. Stacking individual caps on multiple toes crowds an already tight cleat and can create a new pressure problem — which is exactly what we designed around.

How does Stride Sleeve actually work?

It sits between your forefoot and your cleat. The inner surface stays put against your skin; the outer surface slides against your sock.

So the rubbing still happens — it just happens to the sleeve instead of to you. The gel layer also cushions the big toe joint, which absorbs the load on every push-off and hard stop.

I already wear grip socks. Isn't that the same thing?

Different problem. Grip socks stop your foot sliding around inside the cleat, which is real and worth having.

They don't do anything about the cleat pressing directly on your forefoot. That's a pressure and shear problem, not a slippage one, and it's the one this is built for. Plenty of people wear both.

Won't it make my feet sweat more?

This is the right question to ask, because most gel products are sealed — which is why their own instructions tell you to air out your feet and take them off for a few hours a day.

That matters beyond comfort: damp skin blisters more readily than dry skin, so a sealed protector inside a hot cleat can end up causing what it's meant to stop. Ours is ventilated so moisture has somewhere to go.

Does it work on turf and indoor as well as grass?

Yes — and turf is where most players notice it most. Artificial surfaces grip harder than grass, so more of that force transfers straight into shear across your forefoot.

Indoor and futsal shoes are flatter and tighter through the forefoot, which produces the same problem for a different reason. The mechanism is identical wherever your foot meets the front of the shoe.

How long does a pair last?

It's reusable — rinse it in cool water after each session and air dry it flat. Most people get months of regular use from a pair.

Plenty of players keep a second pair in the bag so there's always a dry one for back-to-back games.

How long does delivery take?

Orders typically arrive within 6–9 business days.

If you're buying for a specific tournament or the start of a season, order at least two weeks ahead so you can wear them in at practice first.

What's your returns policy?

If you're not completely satisfied, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.

Thin enough that I forgot I was wearing it. No rubbing at all, even after playing for nearly two hours. Used on astro and grass for 11-a-side, works perfectly for both.

Fits perfectly inside my Mercurials. Didn't move once during the match. My boots are tight for a reason so I was worried these would take up space, but you honestly don't notice them under the sock.

I've got three pairs of grip socks. Heel's been fine ever since I got them but my little toe was still wrecked after every Sunday game. Turns out grip socks stop your foot sliding in the boot, they do nothing about the boot pressing on your toes. Two different problems. Nobody told me that.

Can finally play on astro without coming off with blisters. Use them for both football and touch rugby. Would highly recommend, cheers guys.

I was the bloke taping his toes in the car park before every game. Ten minutes, and it'd fall apart by half time anyway. These go on in five seconds and stay put for ninety minutes plus extra time.

Works perfectly. Tried loads of different anti-blister methods in the past — tape, plasters, the lot — but this is a more permanent solution and can be washed and re-used.

Quick shipping, my son is really happy with them. He plays twice a week on 3G and was constantly moaning about his toes. Not heard a word about it since.

3G is brutal on your feet and nobody warns you. Boots grip, foot doesn't move, toes take everything. Been playing Thursdays and Sundays for two months in these with no issues at all.

Broke in a new pair of boots with these on. Normally that's two weeks of misery before they settle. Wore them from day one and skipped the whole thing.

Five-a-side twice a week and I was down to one session because of my little toe. Back to both now. Sweaty feet after ninety minutes and they still don't slip, which surprised me.
